The Shipibo-Konibo are an indigenous nation residing along the banks of the Ucayali River in the Peruvian Amazon. Renowned worldwide for their artistic heritage, our people map the songs of the forest (Icaros) into visual geometric designs called Kené. We remain dedicated to sustainable forest stewardship, cultural education for our youth, and sharing our living traditions with the world while safeguarding our territorial sovereignty.
